Job Summary:
A Mechanical Engineer uses strong problem solving skills, in a structured approach to resolve technical and operational issues. This hybrid role at our Batavia, OH location applies complex engineering/design practices to create engineering work products for all product lines in our injection units, manages assigned projects, and ensure compliance with standard processes, on-time delivery, error-free designs.
Work You'll Do:
- Works independently to solve technical problems and deliver engineering solutions.
- Understand requirements and converts requirements into engineering work products.
- Respond to requests from Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, and other functional groups.
- Demonstrates Milacron values.
- Takes full accountability of personal work.
- Works within set priorities for workflow.
- Develops and proposes solutions to difficult problem.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 Years of Progressive Engineering experience
- BS Engineering or equivalent combination of education/experience/training plus additional specialized training related to the position.
- Proficient in MS Office tools
- Problem solving skills based on structured data analysis.
